OAKLAND — Police here have released the identity of a man shot and killed on East 27th Street last March.
Roscoe Rhodes, 43, was shot and killed on the 2600 block of East 27th Street, at around 6:45 p.m. on March 6. He was reportedly smoking marijuana with a woman, who ducked inside their Tesla as the shots were fired.
Rhodes was pronounced dead at Highland Hospital later that evening.
Police spoke to friends and family members of Rhodes and learned he had been shot in the leg days earlier, authorities said. No arrests have been announced, nor have police released the suspected motive.
