Meanwhile, Vaughan criticized the England cricket team for slipping back into their old habits after their heavy defeat to India at Edgbaston. He pointed out that after a smart win at Headingley, England seemed to have found a balance in their aggressive style.
Vaughan wrote in his column for The Telegraph: “This team has given us so much joy over the last three years, and they can achieve great things over the next six months. After Headingley, it looked like they had improved, and we called it Bazball with brains.”

The former captain feels England overlooked the role of luck in their Headingley win, where India’s poor catching helped them gain control. The Englishman also admitted that India dominated England throughout the second Test.
