David Draiman of Disturbed received a harsh reaction to his performance at the “Back to the Beginning” all-star farewell concert Saturday, July 5 in Birmingham, England.
Many fans booed Draiman as he appeared with an all-star cast of musicians to honor Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, who put on their final performances.

Draiman, who is Jewish and a staunch supporter of Israel, shared a screen shot of a post he wrote on X with his followers on Instagram.
“So surreal yesterday at #BackToTheBeginning So many that I learned so much from over the years, so much talent, such a legacy that @BlackSabbath and @OzzyOsbourne have! It brought tears to my eyes to watch Ozzy sing “Mama I’m comin home” one last time ???? #ThankYou,” Draiman wrote.
The Disturbed frontman performed the Ozzy Osbourne song “Shot in the Dark” and Black Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf” with an all-star supergroup that included Faith No More’s Mike Bordin, former Megadeth bassist David Elefson, guitarist Jake E. Lee from Osbourne’s solo band, Osbourne keyboardist Adam Wakeman, Extreme’s Nino Bettencourt and Scott Ian of Anthrax.

Fans had a mixed reaction to Draiman’s post and the harsh reception he received from some at the concert.
“Did you learn anything from the chorus of boos you received?” wrote person.
“So happy you got booed ❤️,” another person wrote.
However, others offered their full support to Draiman.
“So sorry for the boos! You deserve a standing ovation!! ❤️,” one wrote.
“You're awesome. haters can hate, you are and will always be a legend ❤️,” another added.
Still others turned on those who were attacking Draiman.
“meanwhile he got to be a part of something you couldn’t even dream of doing because you’re a poor lonely loser living in your mom’s basement. You can only cry on social media for attention but will never amount to nothing in life,” one posted.
