Sometimes, celebrities are just like us.

When they’re away from home, they miss their loved ones. Just ask Valerie Bertinelli.

In a sweet Instagram post, the former Food Network star revealed that she misses home and was somewhat consoled when her “son and daughter-in-law” sent her “pictures and video of them with [her] kitties ? ♥️.”

Bertinelli’s son is rock star Wolfgang Van Halen, 34, who she shared with late guitar legend Eddie Van Halen.

The former One Day at a Timestar also wrote captions for each photo in the carousel. “slide 1, my two favorite boys ?,” she captioned a photo of Wolfgang with a black cat.

The second slide featured Wolf and a white cat. “slide 2, Henry’s little moof just kills me ?,” Bertinelli wrote.

The final visual in the carousel is a video clip of two of Bertinelli’s white cats getting fed a special treat. “slide 3, turn sound up for Bubba‘s song of love for @inaba_churu ?.”

Bertinelli has been in Vancouver, British Columbia, working on an upcoming project for Lifetime.

She recently shared her thoughts about returning to acting in a post late last month on Instagram.

“I am for sure fatigued and exhausted from the hours, but it’s the exhaustion of a job well loved,” Bertinelli wrote. “Even after 53 years, there’s still an excitement and clarity in it all. The gratitude and camaraderie I feel to be working with so many talented and lovely artists in each and every department that makes up this crazy business is something that just feels like home. I will never ever take any of this for granted.”
