PENFIELD, N.Y. — A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Penfield, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Plank Road near Jackson Road, close to Schutt’s Apple Mill.
Deputies said the woman was walking on the side of the road when she was struck. The driver involved is not facing any criminal charges, officials said.
