Winnie Harlow slayed the runway with her fierce and powerful walk and presence, but the Canadian model had quietly battled a fear that most take for granted.
In a post shared on her Instagram Story, the America’s Next Top Model alum marked a special moment when she conquered her fear of driving.
In a video, Harlow revealed that she had been in “so many car accidents growing up,” which left her “terrified” of being behind the wheel.
Remarkably, she shared the exciting news that she had finally obtained her driver’s license.
“And so, I went to driving school and got my license,” she said, showing the video of her inside the car.
“Are you proud of me for facing my fears?” she asked her followers, before admitting that she was still “scared and terrified” of driving — but proud of herself for pushing through despite the fear.
“Never let our fears conquer us,” she furthered.
