ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A fire melted the siding of a two-story house in the city’s Upper Falls neighborhood on Friday night, leaving parts of the home charred.
The fire broke out around 11:45 p.m. on Rauber Street between North Clinton and Joseph avenues. The Rochester Fire Department says the Red Cross is helping two adults and two children who were displaced by the fire.
The fire took 20 minutes to control. RFD says the fire spread to the attic. No one was injured and firefighters didn’t find anyone trapped while searching the home.
RFD is still working to determine the cause.
