80s Soap Opera Icon, 79, Unrecognizable 30 Years After Show Ended

Soap opera icon Ted Shackelford was unrecognizable in recent photos 30 years after the Dallas spinoff Knots Landing ended.

On Friday, July 4, the actor, 79, was photographed while out and about in Beverly Hill, Calif., the Daily Mail reported—but fans likely had to do a double-take if they spotted him in the wild.

In addition to the two soap operas, Shackelford appeared in one episode of The Outer Limits, the 2002 movie Jane White Is Sick & Twisted and 385 episodes of The Young and the Restless. He also appeared in three episodes of the Dallas reboot from 2012 to 2014.
