Crews are battling a wildfire near the business park next to the Sacramento International Airport on Friday.
Metro Fire of Sacramento crews responded to Metro Air Parkway around 10 a.m. and found flames and a heavy column of smoke coming from a field full of dry grass. A second alarm was called and several agencies are now at the scene helping in the fire fight.
As of 11 a.m., the fire has grown to around 5 to 10 acres. Crews are doing airdrops on the flames.
