Noah Wyle will be getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ER actor was on set of Season 2 of The Pitt Wednesday, July 2 when the announcement came through that he’d been selected to receive a star, and producers from Warner Bros. TV captured the moment to share on social media.
In a video posted to the Warner Bros. TV X account, fans can watch The Pitt's cast and crew applauding Wyle before he's handed a microphone to react to his once-in-a-lifetime achievement.
"I’m so embarrassed!" he exclaimed. "So, so, so thrilled. I did grow up in Hollywood. I used to walk home every day down Hollywood Blvd. from Gardner Street Elementary School, and I would put my foot over the 'Beery' in Noah Berry Jr.’s name on his star and think, 'Maybe one day,' and I guess that day has come. I'm so thrilled that this is the show that put it over the top!"
