ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A cold front Tuesday night will drop our dew points, making it feel less tropical than it has been the last few days. Meanwhile, high pressure builds in, providing the Rochester area with beautiful sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures in the lower 80s for Wednesday. Another weak cold front will drop through early Thursday morning. This will produce a few scattered showers, possibly a brief thundershower early, followed by a dry afternoon with increasing sunshine. If you have plans for the Ring of Fire on Conesus Lake on Thursday, weather won’t be a concern! We’ll see a clearing sky and temperatures in the 70s.
This will also set us up for a wonderful 4th of July with sunshine, along with comfortable temperatures and humidity. Highs on Friday will top out in the mid to upper 70s. The weekend will begin to turn a little warmer, with highs back into the 80s on Saturday, and near 90 with a little more humidity returning on Sunday. Overall though, the holiday weekend looks great!
That pattern will begin to change a little bit into next week, with a somewhat more active weather pattern. Monday will see scattered showers and storms, with the slight chance of a few storms each day next week (but also lots of dry time in the mix).
