SENECA, N.Y. – A 41-year-old man drowned while fishing in a kayak on a private pond in Seneca, Ontario County. It happened Monday at 5 p.m. on Seneca Castle Road near Vogt Road.
Deputies said it appears the kayak capsized. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Underwater Search and Rescue Team responded and found the man’s body.
Investigators said they do not suspect foul play. The man’s name has not been released.
