ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester Police say a 15-year-old boy from the city was arrested after leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle.
A car with a loaded gun inside was reported stolen from the Rochester General Hospital parking lot on Portland Avenue on Monday at 5:21 p.m.
The stolen car was found traveling in the area of Bartlett Street. Attempts were made to pull the car over, but the driver would not comply. Several people eventually ran out of the car, but the driver refused to stop and hit another car at Genesee and Seward streets. Two women in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect was taken into custody after the police used spike strips to stop the car.
This is an ongoing investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
