(KRON) -- A man was shot and killed by police in Antioch on Monday morning, according to authorities.
The man was killed while officers responded to a call on the 3800 block of Osprey Drive, Antioch Police Department Sergeant Rob Green said. Police did not provide details as to what officers were initially dispatched to the area for or what led up to the fatal shooting.
Osprey Drive was shut down to traffic, and the public was advised to avoid the area, the police department announced at 8:19 a.m.
