First Watch is continuing to raise the bar when it comes to breakfast and brunch.
The brand has quickly grown into one of the biggest breakfast chains in the United States, with no plans of stopping or slowing down anytime soon.
The first three months of the year yielded 13 new restaurants across 10 states, bringing the total to over 580 restaurants in 31 states, as revealed in the company's first quarter earnings call.
Following an "encouraging first quarter," with many new locations "exceeding expectations," according to First Watch President and CEO Chris Tomasso, the company plans to open between 59 and 64 new restaurants throughout the remainder of the 2025 year.
According to USA Today, the chain will be opening new restaurants across Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho (the 31st state to get a First Watch location), Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts (getting its second location), Missouri, Nevada, North Caorlina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee (getting its first location), Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Nevada's restaurant will be located in Las Vegas, making it the 32nd state for the expansion, with a summer opening planned.

The rising popularity of the breakfast chain comes from fresh, quality ingredients and a unique and innovative menu, rotating many seasonal options, with the summer menu offering Elote Breakfast Burrito, Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast, and Blueberry Lemon Cornbread.
There's also an emphasis on wellness, blending traditional go-to orders with health-conscious upgrades like juices with the option of "wellness shot of antioxidant-rich vitamins," along with healthier choices like the Power Wrap or the classic Elevated Egg Sandwich.
