ROCHESTER, N.Y. – News10NBC’s College Rundown highlights two former Section V stars excelling in college lacrosse every Sunday! This week, McKenna Davis and Abbey Herod are the athletes being honored.
Both Davis and Herod played women’s lacrosse for Boston College this past Spring.
Senior McKenna Davis wrapped up her college career this past spring with an impressive 100-point season, scoring 28 goals and dishing out 77 assists. Davis has accumulated 319 career points, starting in 66 games. She scored three times in the NCAA semifinals against Northwestern. Before college, Davis was a standout for Canandaigua girls lacrosse.
Abbey Herod, another Canandaigua graduate, is also making her mark at Boston College. Herod started 20 games this past year and achieved 172 draw controls, with more than 100 this season.
