A stabbing at Chicago’s Navy Pier on Sunday evening left a 56-year-old man dead and the stabbing suspect with serious injures, police said.
The stabbing was reported at around 5:30 p.m. at the popular tourist attraction along the lakefront. According to police, the 56-year-old victim was involved with an argument with a 64-year-old known suspect. At one point, the offender pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim multiple times.
The victim sustained multiple lacerations to his body and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died, police said. The suspect sustained a laceration to the chest and was hospitalized in serious condition.
Area Three detectives were investigating late Sunday.
