While any sighting of Vivienne or Jolie's other children is rare, it was also a surprise to see Vivienne in NYC, as only weeks earlier, she was seen out and about in Los Angeles, Calif. with her twin, Knox.

In the new photos, Vivienne wore a white t-shirt and white pants as she carried some water during a heat wave in the city. It's unclear why she is visiting NYC, as she usually lives in LA with her family.

In 2024, Vivienne spent a lot of time in NYC with her mother as Jolie produced the new musical, The Outsiders, based on the popular novel. Her daughter served as a volunteer assistant in the production.
In an interview with People, Jolie revealed what it was like working with her Vivienne, saying, "She's been a really tough assistant. She takes it very, very seriously."
Jolie and Vivienne attended the Tony Awards together in June of last year, matching in teal ensembles. The Outsiders ended up having a successful night, taking home four awards, including Best Musical.
