ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A 25-year-old woman was shot near Bloss Street and Saratoga Avenue Saturday evening.
Police said they were responding to a separate ShotSpotter alert on the street when they received the call around 9:50 p.m.
The woman was treated on the scene for an upper body wound by the Rochester Fire Department and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. She is expected to survive.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
