End of TABOR could add costs for Coloradans

Many Coloradans are finding it harder and and harder to make ends meet. At the same time, our elected representatives are working against us to make it more difficult for us to make every dollar we earn count. Many Democrats are working diligently to eliminate the Taxpayer Bill of Rights or TABOR, which has been an amendment to the Colorado constitution since 1992.

Colorado is the only state that caps how much the government. is allowed to take in. It’s determined by inflation and population growth. Our lawmakers have been trying to claw back its provisions ever since. Hard-working taxpayers say no. We’ve been saying no every time it’s gone to a vote. We like our elected representatives to be held accountable for the money they spend. We like being asked when our taxes get raised. So instead, they call them fees —  to the tune of about $5,000 a year per taxpayer.

Now Democrats want to sue, claiming TABOR is unconstitutional. They discussed it last legislative session and plan to bring it up again and again until they can find a way to get rid of TABOR. They want the ability to spend whatever they want without our consent. Make sure they know you want to keep TABOR — and you’re paying attention.

Look at the history of regime change in Iran

Is there a Shah in the house?

The Shah of Iran left his country in January of 1979 and two weeks later Ruhollah Khomeini returned to Iran after a long exile. During that year there was a regime change, and Iranians took over 50 U.S. hostages.  The crisis was resolved when Ronald Reagan took office in 1981.

Now, over 40 years later, President Trump has made threats and carried out an act of aggression in Iran.  Trump now recommends a change of regime for Iran. Perhaps, a new American puppet like, the Shah of Iran. It was all about oil then, and it’s all about oil now. Saudi Arabia was a major player in both these events. And Qatar, they tossed in a used Air Force One for good measure.

This whole affair smells of conspiracy. Goodbye clean energy, welcome back oil and coal.  Follow the money.

    Poll looks fishy

I am writing with regards to the online polls. Obviously, they are meant to be fun, since there is always one answer that is completely off the wall. However, the results on the Cascadia poll are the exact opposite of the resident feedback at the City Council meetings. Something is fishy under this “cascading” waterfall.
