Lainey Wilson the savior.

Wilson spent years in Nashville playing small venues, but really started to take off around 2021. Her big breakthrough came after the release of her song "Things a Man Oughta Know" and her role on the TV show Yellowstone. In a recent video Wilson posted of her singing her song "Somewhere Over Laredo," fans are pointing out her star power, and even saying she "saved" the genre.

"Watching this song soar has been so special ❤️? #SomewhereOverLaredo" Wilson captioned the post. In the video, Wilson is dancing in the desert in an all-denim outfit and teal cowgirl hat, passionately singing the lyrics.
