Haylie Duff and sister Hilary Duff have worked together in the past, but would the sister duo be up for it again?
Haylie, 40, opened up about the possibility while chatting exclusively with Parade amid promoting her new Lifetime Original Movie, Pretty Hurts, in association with GSK’s Ask2BSure Campaign.

“I guess the 20-year [anniversary] of Material Girls is coming up, [which is] crazy!” she says, referring to the mid-aughts teen comedy in which they starred. “How has it been that long? I don't know. Maybe! You know. Never say never. There's so many reboots of stuff coming up.”
Haylie goes on to tell Parade all about working on Pretty Hurts, in which she portrays Julie, a former beauty pageant winner and mom who, alongside her daughter Lauren (Sarah Borne), discovers the ugly truths behind the teen pageant world.
The film also includes a storyline about meningitis and the importance of proactive conversations between parents of teens and their doctor, empowering them to “ask to be sure” that their child has received their vaccinations against all five preventable groups of meningitis: A, B, C, W and Y. Though many teens receive vaccinations against groups A, C, W and Y, many may be missing the vaccination for meningitis B.
“That was one of the things that I really loved about this project upon first reading it. I thought, ‘How do you talk about something like this and not make it super polarizing?’” she explains. “Especially because parents, we all have strong opinions about everything, right? And what works for one doesn't work for everyone. And what I love so much about this is that it is really more about sharing access to information than it is pushing one way on someone, and that's what I appreciated about this.”
She adds: “[What] I loved about it is that it wasn't super preachy. It was just kind of like, more information for people to be able to do whatever it is that they want to do about it. But I think the more we as parents arm ourselves with information, the more we can make the right decisions for our families.”
Pretty Hurts premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, June 28, at 8 p.m. ET.
