Greeley police are searching for the person who shot someone at an east Greeley motel Wednesday morning.
About 6:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in progress at the Greeley University Inn, 721 13th St., according to a department news release.
When officers arrived, the victim had already left for a hospital, the release states. The victim suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the release.
Police have not yet identified a suspect but believe the shooting to be an isolated incident, per the release. Anyone with information on the case can contact Sgt. Michael Pfeiler at [email protected].
The department said no further information will be released Wednesday, citing the active investigation.
