The major US indices have eroded their gains/most of their gains. The Dow industrial average and the S&P index is now in negative territory.
The Dow industrial average is down -0.28% at 42968.80 after trading as high as 43,130.33 or up 41.31 points. The S&P index is down -2 points at 6091 after trading as high as 6108.51, up 16.33 points.
