Fatal Denver shooting still unsolved five years later, police searching for leads

Investigators are still searching for leads in the death of a 27-year-old man who was shot in Denver five years ago, according to the police department.

Angel De La Cruz was shot at about 2:45 a.m. on June 20, 2020, near the southbound off-ramp of Interstate 25 at 20th Street, according to the Denver Police Department.

    Paramedics took De La Cruz to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

    Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or online at metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.

    Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
