LYONS, N.Y. – In Wayne County, a woman is facing charges in relation to an attack in the Town of Lyons Monday.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says Monica Williams attacked a person with a knife while also trying to attack another.
Monica Williams was arrested and charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Investigators say during an official investigation into the attack, Leon Williams refused to comply and fought with officers. He was arrested and then later released.
Monica Williams was brought to Wayne County Jail.
