However, Iran has continued with four waves of missiles since then and are defending those attacks by reaffirming that Trump's ceasefire is only to take effect at 0400 GMT (30 mins ago). If you want to go on semantics, they weren't acting in the wrong but the gesture itself is bad form. In a time of war though, I doubt they'd care.
We'll see now if they really will hold true to the ceasefire from hereon. In any case, markets will be looking to move past all of this and the tensions here will slowly fade into the background in the days ahead.
