WEBSTER, N.Y. – An unorthodox golf tournament is taking place in Webster at Jackson’s Golf Club. The indoor simulator is one of 72 facilities taking part in the GolfZon Tour.
“The Rochester area obviously has an elite love for golf,” said Jackson’s Golf Club co-owner Mike Wolfe. “We’re proud to invite the Rochester community to participate.”
GolfZon is the brand of simulator that Jackson’s uses.
Until the end of July, local golf enthusiasts are invited to sign-up and compete in the qualifying stage at Jackson’s. The top two scores from June and two best from July will form “Team Rochester” and advance to the team qualifier round. The best scores shot at Jackson’s for each month also win $10,000.
“Right now, we are in the qualifying stage, there’s an unlimited amount of people who can try out for the qualifying stage,” said Jackson’s Golf Club co-owner Anthony Germano.
Team Rochester will then compete for a grand prize of $300,000. Entry into the tournament is free and golfers can sign up here. Non-members are asked to reach out to Anthony Germano at [email protected] to set up a time to compete.
“Here’s an awesome opportunity for golfers in the area to show off what they can do on a world stage with a big prize at the end of it,” Wolfe said.
Jackson’s Golf Club opened up in December 2024 and is located at 1900 Empire Blvd suite 170 in Webster. Click here to learn more about the club.
