Travis and Jason Kelce just received a major honor from their Ohio hometown.
The Won’t Quit Foundation announced on Sunday, June 22, that both Travis, 35, and Jason, 37, received an Outstanding Leadership Award for their “extraordinary commitment, compassion and service” to the community.
“This award recognizes someone who has gone above and beyond to uplift their community, inspire their peers and make a lasting impact on the world around them,” the foundation’s letter reads. “Through consistent action, integrity and selflessness, they embody the true spirit of leadership and the mission of the Won’t Quit Foundation.”
The message continued, “In a world that deeply needs strong, compassionate leaders, your example stands out as a beacon of hope and inspiration. Our consistent efforts to create positive change have not gone unnoticed, and this recognition is a celebration of the lives you’ve touched and the legacy you continue to build.”

Letters posted to the nonprofit’s Instagram Story were signed by Ohio Representative Darnell T. Brewer, making the honor official. The Won’t Quit Foundation also asked followers to tag both Travis and Jason so they were aware of the honor. Neither athlete has publicly commented on the award.
The Won’t Quit Foundation was started in 2022 with “a relentless commitment to foster unity and inspire change within our communities,” the organization’s website reads.
“We celebrate the spirit of leadership and resilience by recognizing those who dedicate their time and energy to uplift others. Our mission is to ignite the power of togetherness, creating a ripple effect of generosity and support that transforms lives,” their mission statement continues. “United in purpose, we strive to build a brighter future where hope thrives, and every act of kindness leads the way. Together, we won’t quit; we will empower, uplift and give back, creating lasting impact for generations to come.”

As Cleveland Heights natives, Travis and Jason have spoken at length about where they grew up and have both given back to the community.
“If you guys know me, you guys know how much love I have for the city of Cleveland Heights and all the family and friends that I have back there,” Travis said during a past press conference. “In my mind, it’s the most beautiful place you can have an upbringing. It’s such a melting pot of social class and ethnicity that you understand so many different walks of life. I love it for that.”
He added, “On top of that, man, I had such an amazing childhood because [of] my parents and my friends’ parents and the guidance that I got through Cleveland Heights. I still do everything for that city.”
