(STORYFUL) -- Qatar successfully intercepted a missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base, the largest US military installation in the Middle East, on Monday, June 23, according to its Ministry of Defense.
Iran confirmed responsibility for the attack through its state-run news agency.
Tasnim News, citing Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) described the operation as an “Annunciation of Victory,” according to a translation from Al Jazeera.
US officials told Reuters that no personnel were killed or injured in the attack on the airbase.
