(KRON) — One person was rescued from the coastal cliffside at Battery Godfrey as the sun was setting in San Francisco Sunday.
Firefighters with the San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene and set up a system of ropes to pull them to safety.
“One adult is hanging off a cliff, and rescuers are in the process of setting up for a rope rescue,” SFFD wrote on social media at 8:43 p.m.
