Survivor 45 castaways Katurah Topps and Sabiyah Broderick are officially dating.
On Sunday, June 22, Topps and Broderick revealed they were a couple on Instagram with a joint post in celebration of Pride Month.
"On Survivor, we both struggled with fire? I couldn’t make it and she went a week without it. But what we’ve built together? That’s a fire that finally lit itself! ❤️?❤️? from Players to Partners, from Castmates to Co-dreamers..." wrote Topps.
"Meet Survivor’s FIRST Black Queer Woman Couple✨?️?" she added.

On Survivor 45, Topps placed 4th while Broderick came in 16th place. Since Broderick was eliminated early, and the women were not on the same tribe, the two had limited contact while in Fiji.
In an interview with Rob Has A Podcast, Topps shared that she contacted the early boots of Survivor 45, including Broderick, after filming had wrapped asking if they wanted to meet - an offer which Broderick gladly accepted.
"Of course I'm hitting you up!" Broderick recalled thinking at the time. "I FaceTimed her and it was so natural, so easy. We were laughing, we were like best friends, we talked for over an hour."
"That's how we ended up eventually a few weeks later being like do you want to be best friends?" Broderick added.
Eventually, the two realized that their friendship had blossomed into something more, deciding to become a couple rather than remaining just friends.
On their Instagram post, the two were met with support from Survivor cast members, including fellow Survivor 45 player, Austin Li Coon, who wrote, "HARD LAUNCH!!!"
Two-time Survivor player Eliza Orlins also commented, "SO BEYOND HAPPY FOR YOU TWO AND FOR YOUR LOVE!!!! So glad you’re now sharing this with the world! Love you both!!! ??????"
