(KRON) – A San Francisco resident has been arrested for a fatal shooting in the Ingleside District, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
San Francisco police found a person who had been shot in the 100 block of Brookdale Avenue around 3:58 p.m. on Saturday. SFPD said officers rendered aid to the victim, including CPR. However, the victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified 32-year-old Marvin Duran as the suspect. According to SFPD, Duran was on the scene and was detained. Authorities also seized a firearm.
The SFPD Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took the lead in the investigation.
Duran was arrested and booked into San Francisco County Jail for suspicion of murder.
