General Hospital star Katelyn MacMullen has been killing it on the show ever since Willow lost custody of her kids to Michael (Rory Gibson). The actress gave such a powerful performance that her co-star,Laura Wright (Carly), was singing MacMullen’s praises.
MacMullen opened up about filming the court scenes with Soap Opera Digest. She revealed she was so lucky to have been given the room to do her thing, and her co-stars supported her fully.

“That day was weirdly exciting but nerve-wracking, for sure, because I was like, 'Okay, it’s kind of all been leading to this moment.' I definitely felt like it required a pretty large reaction, considering Willow was losing custody of her children. So going into it, I was just like, 'Okay, this is gonna be scary,'” she shared.
Since she was allowed to take it as far as she needed, the actress gave it her all, and it was an exhausting day for MacMullen. However, she was beyond grateful for the chance to sink her teeth into such good writing and her co-stars for supporting her.
MacMullen also addressed the aftermath of court scenes with SOD.Willow is having some kind of breakdown, but the actress hints that General Hospital fans haven’t seen anything yet.
“I do think there’s a bit of a fog. I think she definitely snapped — she definitely had a moment where she snapped in the courtroom and I think that there is a little bit of delayed processing, maybe, even like [she ’s] kind of losing it a little bit as she’s trying to cope with this feeling of emptiness,” MacMullen explained.
As for what is next for Willow, MacMullen didn’t give any spoilers. However, she did tease that “anything is possible” regarding Willow’s state of mind.

July sweeps are on the horizon, and that meansGeneral Hospitalfans can expect some jaw-dropping moments on the ABC soap. Considering Willow’s state of mind, the writers seem to be setting the stage for her downward spiral.
