PORTAGE, N.Y. – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a 39-year-old they say shot and killed a dog on June 17.
Deputies say they responded to Stilson Road in the Town of Portage on June 17 where they found a Rottweiler had been shot and killed in a home.
As a result, deputies arrested Zachary Pruonto and charged him with felony aggravated cruelty to animals. Pruonto was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Portage Court at a later date.
