PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Noah Douphner, West Ranch, Senior

Douphner followed up his stellar junior season with 561 kills, 31 blocks and 201 digs in his final year with the Wildcats. The senior led his team to a CIF Southern Section Division 4 Championship last year and was named Foothill League MVP this season.
Before he starts training in Northridge, Douphner will head to Uzbekistan to compete for the United States in the FIVB Boys U19 World Championship.
He finishes his West Ranch career with 1,720 kills and 260 aces.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Noa Beauregard, Chatsworth, Junior

The junior wasn’t expecting to be a top option for the Chancellors, but with senior Chase Dunn going down in the preseason, Beauregard rose to the challenge.
The opposite was instrumental in Chatsworth’s fifth straight league title and run in the LA City Open Division playoffs.
Beauregard tallied 383 kills, 54 digs, 40 blocks and 23 aces and was one of two Chancellors named West Valley League Co-MVP.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Zachary Kochel, Thousand Oaks, Junior
Zachary Kochel returns to the All-Area team, this time as the Defensive Player of the Year. He finished his junior year with 435 digs and was named the Marmonte League Libero of the Year for the second straight season.
The libero’s back row presence helped power Thousand Oaks to its first league title in three seasons.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Alyssa Lee, El Camino Real

The team dealt with nagging injuries throughout the season, players missing practice and a big plateau late in the year but somehow the Royals found a way.
Lee also won City Section titles in girls volleyball and beach volleyball in this academic year.
In the boys semifinals, the Royals ended Chatsworth’s dominant run and a shot at a City Section three-peat.
El Camino Real went on to beat top-seeded Venice 3-1 in the title match.
ALL-AREA TEAM
Benjamin Andrade, St. Francis, Jr., opposite hitter
259 kills, 117 digs and 21 aces for the big, junior opposite.

The All-CIF outside hitter fueled the Knights to the CIF-SS semifinals with 242 kills to go with 129 digs and 23 aces.
Carter Borth, Royal, Sr., libero/setter
Borth bounced between libero and setter to give the Highlanders the best chance to win. The senior totaled 401 assists, 141 digs, 21 aces and earned his third consecutive All-Coastal Canyon League first team selection.
Grant Chang, Chatsworth, Jr., middle blocker
307 kills, 58 blocks and 31 aces for the West Valley League Co-MVP.
Noah Duffield, Burroughs, So., outside hitter
Led Burroughs in kills and aces, earning the sophomore first-team All-CIF and All-Pacific League honors.
Caleb Eschenberg, Newbury Park, Sr., opposite hitter
296 kills, 93 blocks and 42 aces for the first team All-CIF and All-Marmonte League opposite.
Marco Farabolini, VAAS, Sr., setter
The All-City Section Division II selection and Valley League co-MVP will continue his career with Moorpark College volleyball.
Donnie Flemming, Royal, So., outside hitter
Flemming burst onto the scene this year with 203 kills, 122 digs, 25 aces. He also had an impressive passer rating of 2.49. The sophomore earned co-MVP honors in the Coastal Canyon League.
Tyler Lee, El Camino Real, Sr., outside hitter
124 kills in 10 league matches and 37 kills in CIF LA City championship run. City Section Open Division Player of the Year.

City Section Division II and Valley League co-MVP headed to Westcliff University.
Patrick McCarty, Chatsworth, Sr., setter
Nearly 1,000 assists for the first-team All-West Valley League setter.
Kristian Ognjanovic, Taft, Sr., setter
LA City Division I Co-Player of the Year, West Valley League first team.
Bryson Saint, Thousand Oaks, Jr., middle blocker
263 kills and 115 blocks for the Marmonte League MVP.
Caiden Shrode, Burroughs, Sr., setter
Shrode ran the lethal Burroughs offense, tallying more than 700 assists and earning Pacific League co-MVP.
Steven Whalen, Taft, Sr., outside hitter
Led the L.A. City Division I champion Toreadors in kills, earning him co-Player of the Year and West Valley League first teamer.
Nathan Willis, Valencia, Sr., libero
Four-time all-Foothill League selection, including 2024 MVP, All-CIF back row anchor.
