BATH, N.Y. – A 45-year-old woman from Corning has been arrested by New York State Police as they say she kidnapped and engaged in sexual acts with a juvenile.
Police say on June 15, Jolene Spaulding was put on administrative leave from Hillside Children’s Center-Snell Farms after there were concerns of possible misconduct with a juvenile resident.
Then on June 18, police say there was a report that a juvenile resident went missing from Hillside Children’s Center-Snell Farms.
The Corning Police Department and state police were able to find Spaulding and the juvenile in a parked car at a local park. Police say through investigations, they found Spaulding had a sexual relationship with the juvenile.
Spaulding was arrested and charged with kidnapping in the second-degree, rape in the third-degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
