Eric Dane made his first red carpet appearance since announcing his ALS diagnosis at the Countdown premiere in Los Angeles on June 18.
The Grey's Anatomy star, 52, was dressed in a pair of khaki colored pants with a white shirt and a white cardigan over top. He appeared to be in good spirits as he posed for photos and chatted with the media.

Dane, who plays the head of a secret task force, recently did an interview with Diane Sawyer about his symptoms and how he's dealing with the devastating health diagnosis.
“My left side is functioning. My right side has completely stopped working. I feel like maybe a couple more months and I won’t have my left hand either. It’s sobering," he said.

However, when it comes to work, Dane has no plans to slow down.
"I'm going to ride this till the wheels fall off," he told E! News. "It keeps me sharp. It keeps me moving forward, which is super important right now," he continued, adding, "I feel great when I'm at work. Of course, there have been some sort of setbacks, but I feel pretty good. My spirit is always pretty buoyant, so at the end of the day, that's all that matters."
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Parade at the Countdown premiere, showrunner Derek Haas weighed in on whether or not Dane would return for a second season of the series.
"My thought is I will take any Eric Dane that I can get. I absolutely adore him, and I adore the character. If he says, ‘I am up for X, I will make X happen.’ I love him and it’s going to be up to him. The ball’s going to be in Eric’s court, and I will take anything that he wants [to do]," Haas said.
