(KRON) -- The Contra Costa Fire Protection District and CAL FIRE say crews are at the scene of a rapidly burning blaze in Antioch that has ripped through 209 acres. Officials are calling it the "Somersville Fire."

The cause of the fire is actively under investigation. There are no reports of any injuries.
In an alert posted on social media, the Antioch Police Department said it is assisting with the fire in the area of Black Diamond Mines. Commuters are advised to avoid the area starting at James Donlon Boulevard. Police are notifying residents near Finch Drive, Markley Creek, Osprey and Cambridge Avenue to be prepared to evacuate.
