Watch: Kuldeep Yadav-led Indian players fight with fielding coach T Dilip; lodge complaint

India National Cricket Team’s fielding session turned into a full drama as Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, and Arshdeep Singh were caught in a heated argument with fielding coach T Dilip ahead of the five-match Test series opener in Leeds.

The Shubman Gill-led Indian team has already arrived in Leeds, where they will face the Ben Stokes-led England National Cricket Team in the first Test on June 20. However, even before the start of the Test series, Indian players turned heads with their antics during the team’s training sessions.

In a viral video, Indian leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav was seen boldly leading the group toward the fielding coach, charging into battle over something. It seems that the players were upset over a throwdown drill and questioned Dilip’s approach.

Even Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj had an intense and animated chat with T Dilip, waving their arms and expressing strong emotions, as seen in the viral clip. Ravindra Jadeja was also seen having some strong words with the fielding coach, while Arshdeep Singh was just watching what unfolded.

But before fans could panic and any rumor could catch fire, things took a funny turn. Dilip managed to calm the players led by Kuldeep Yadav and ended the playful banter as the other members of the support staff couldn’t stop laughing at how seriously the players were “fighting” over training drills.

Harshit Rana joins India’s Test squad!!

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team stunned one and all by recalling the young speedster Harshit Rana to the Test squad ahead of the first Test. The 22-year-old pacer, who recently shone for India A with his fiery spells, has now reportedly joined the senior team in England.

Rana didn’t return home after the India A assignments, but he stayed back. Whether it's due to a hidden injury or a tactical masterstroke, the BCCI has kept things under wraps. But one thing is clear, India wants to go all guns blazing with their fast bowlers against the English team.

Virat Kohli hosts Team India at London home ahead of England Test series

On the other hand, Virat Kohli, who recently retired from Test cricket, has reportedly invited Team India to his London residence for an exclusive get-together. With the high-voltage five-match Test series starting June 20 at Leeds, Kohli hosted the selected players and support staff at home.

As reported by the Deccan Chronicle, India’s new Test skipper Shubman Gill, vice-captain Rishabh Pant, pacer Mohammed Siraj, and a few other players were hosted by Kohli in London. The report also claimed that Kohli, India’s most successful Test captain with 40 wins from 68 matches, is planning to attend at least two of the England-India Tests in London.
