    Love Island season 12 contestants

Let’s take a look at all of the lovely lads and lasses who will be keeping us entertained in the Villa this summer.

    Remell Mullins

24-year-old self-improvement content creator Remmell Mullins has not made too much of an impact in the first week, sitting at 10/1 with bet365 to be the show’s top male. The Essex boy arrived as a bombshell and is partnered up with Alima Gagio, having set his eyes on the Glaswegian straight after arriving.

    Shea Mullins

Bristolian Shea was another bombshell in the show’s first week, arriving on day 3 of the series. He is yet to partner up with anyone, but as a father, he claims he is on the hunt for a woman to settle down with. He ruffled some feathers during the task at the beginning of week 2, though, raising questions about his long-term intentions. He is the least fancied of the current crop, with Betfred pricing him at 12/1.

    Dejon Noel Williams

Dejon is no stranger to the spotlight, having been a footballer for the last decade. He has played in non-league for most of his career, taking to the field for the likes of Braintree Town and Billericay. He is also the son of former footballer Gifton Noel Williams. The 26-year-old had a strong first week and has partnered up with Megan Moore. The bookies have him as the second favourite in the top male category, with BetMGM pricing him at 3/1.

    Tommy Bradley

Landscape gardener Tommy Bradley has made a positive impact in his first week and is currently the favourite in the top male category, with bet365 pricing him at 2/1. He is coupled up with Megan, who is the favourite in the female category, with the two having an instant connection that has gone down well with viewers.

    Connor Philips

Irish heartthrob Connor has had a fun first week in the villa. After originally partnering up with Helena, he recoupled with Toni after sharing a sneaky kiss on the terrace. The 25-year-old rugby player is just behind the front two in the odds, sitting at 9/2 with Betfred.

The bookies have him as the second favourite in the top male category, with BetMGM pricing him at 3/1

    Harry Cooksley

Another island with a background in football is 30-year-old non-league player Harry Cooksley. He had an exciting first few days in the Villa, partnering up with Helena Ford after he shared a kiss with her when he was coupled up with Shakira, whom he had chosen after being originally matched with Sophie. He’s certainly going to be one to watch this year. He is priced at 9/1 with bet365 to be the top male.

    Ben Holbrough

Rounding out the boys, we have Ben, whose partnership with Shakira has begun to win the audience over. The private hire taxi driver from Gloucester has seen his odds cut shorter already, but he still has some way to go if he is going to close in on the favourites. He is available at 7/1 with Betfred.

    Alima Gagigo

After not connecting with Blu, 23-year-old Glasweigan Alima quickly partnered up with bombshell Remell and will be hoping to be a little more settled over the coming weeks. The bookies still see her as an outsider, though, with bet365 pricing her at 9/1.

    Megan ‘Meg’ Moore

25-year-old Meg has proven to be a popular contestant during her first week in the Villa, though some online fans raised concerns over her being a little over-dramatic about Dejon’s involvement with Malisha. This does not appear to have impacted her odds too much, though, with Coral pricing her as the second favourite at 7/2.

    Shakira Khan

What a wild first week Shakira had in the Villa. The 22-year-old looked as though she could be going home early after Ben left her for Toni. Following a 24-hour period where she tried to find a new connection, she kissed Blu and connected with Harry before ultimately ending up back with Ben later in the week. She has been well-received by fans, but the jury is still out on her relationship. Her odds have come in significantly, though, with Betfred pricing her at 5/1 to be top female.

    Helena Ford

Helena was initially partnered up with Connor, but after the two decided they weren’t compatible, she shared a sneaky moment with Harry and now finds herself partnered up with the former footballer. After being one of the early favourites, her odds have drifted a little, with bet365 now pricing her at 6/1.

    Megan Forte Clarke

Dubliner Megan has been a big hit with fans so far and currently finds herself leading the back as the favourite for top female. Coral currently prices her at 9/4, with all other bookies also positioning her around a similar price as favourite. Her relationship with Tommy has been a success so far, but it is still very early days.

    Toni Laites

Toni made quite the entrance as the first bombshell of this series. She quickly partnered up with Ben, but the two realised it wasn’t to be, and she is now coupled with Irish rugby player Connor. She is yet to win the bookies over, with bet365 pricing her at 10/1 to be top female.

    Malisha Jordan

Bombshell Malisha has done little to warm herself to the islanders so far, causing drama after she took a liking to Dejon. The 24-year-old could certainly ruffle some feathers in the Villa, though; concerns have been raised that the other women have targeted her. She is not fancied by the bookies at all right now, with bet365 pricing her at 20/1.

    Emily Moran

Aberdare-based insurance executive Emily entered the Villa as a bombshell at the end of the week, and she has stated she is on the hunt for an emotionally intelligent man. Whether she will find that in the Villa remains to be seen, but any fresh singletons are always worth keeping an eye on. She is priced at 16/1 with Betfred.

    Yasmin Pettet

Yasmin Pettet joined Emily and Malisha as a bombshell at the end of the first week, with the Londoner promising to bring plenty of banter to the Villa. She is currently a serious outsider, priced at 16/1 with Coral, but she could be one to watch once she is partnered up.

    Love Island betting tips

Let’s take a look at some early betting tips for Love Island series 13. Readers should bear in mind that the show’s odds can change at the drop of a hat, and we will endeavour to keep readers as up to date as possible with these changes.

    Tommy Bradley – 2/1 with bet365

Cheeky chappy Tommy Bradley has emerged as the early favourite for top male in this year’s Love Island. The North Londoner has been partnered up with top female frontrunner Megan Forte Clarke, and it is hard to look past the pair right now. Megan chose to recouple with Tommy at the first recoupling ceremony, and the two have genuine chemistry. Of course, a couple rarely goes the distance in Love Island, but of the early couples, these two look the most likely. Tommy is available to be Top Male at 2/1 with bet365.

Dejon is the second favourite in the men’s market, and could be worth monitoring. However, his relationship with Meg appears to be more volatile, and there is a good chance it does not last. Of course, it is essential to remember that the bet only requires the man to be in the winning couple, and there is a good chance that most of the competitors will end up recoupling. He is available at 3/1 with bet365.

Go with Tommy Bradley 2/1 with bet365

    Megan Forte Clarke – 9/2 with bet365

In an opening week that has already seen plenty of drama, Megan Forte Clarke has emerged as the show’s early favourite for top female. Megan and Tommy’s relationship was the strongest in an opening week that saw two dumplings and six bombshells enter the Villa. Megan was the centre of some drama when Shea rigged a task to enable him to kiss her, but the incident appears to have only strengthened the bond between Megan and Tommy. She is available at 9/4 with Coral.

Like her partner Dejon, Megan ‘Meg’ Moore is second in the couple stakes. She currently sits at 7/2. However, some fans reacted negatively to her reactions at the end of last week’s show, and are aware that she may be acting for the camera. Shakira is another one well worth monitoring. After starting the week out at 8/1, she has drifted into 9/2 with bet365 and seems to be growing in popularity.

Pick Megan Forte Clarke at 9/2 with bet365

Megan and Tommy for Top Couple

The show only releases Top Couple odds a little later in its run. Right now, we would recommend keeping an eye on all of the bookmakers listed in this guide and jumping on the opportunity whenever they become available. As we have already mentioned, Megan and Tommy have been the strongest so far. However, if we were looking for some outside value, a couple like Shakira and Ben could cause some surprises, with both of them seeing their odds come in after a slow start.

    Love Island betting markets

Love Island does not boast the most diverse range of betting markets. However, each of its markets is very volatile, with the odds changing so quickly that they offer punters the chance to secure some wins if they can get ahead. Let’s explore some of the most popular betting markets:

    Top male

The top male market is a bet on which male competitor will win the show. This is going to be one of the most popular betting markets at the beginning of the show, with bookmakers not opening up Top Couple markets until later in the run. It can also be an excellent chance to score some value, especially when new bombshells arrive. Odds are always quite long at the beginning of the series and present some great betting opportunities for eagle-eyed viewers.

    Top female

The top female market is, as its name might suggest, a bet on which female will win the show. Like the male market, this is an excellent opportunity to get some great odds early in the running. The market is extremely volatile in the early stages, with the show’s dramatic twists and turns often flipping the odds on their head in the course of one episode.

    Winning couple

The winning couple market will open up in the later stages of the show. Like the previous two markets mentioned, this one can be very volatile, with recouplings and dumpings having the potential to completely flip things on their head.

Next to be dumped from the island

The most stable of the markets to bet on, but also the one that is the least commonly offered by bookies, is the next person to be dumped market. This is a bet on which of the islanders is going to be removed from the show next. Unlike the other markets, this one is often a little easier to predict, though there is still plenty of room for surprises.

Some of the twists of last year/previous years

One of the biggest reasons Love Island has become such an unexpected hit with bettors in recent years is its unpredictability.

The most popular way the show likes to spice things up is by adding bombshells. These are entrants who are dropped into the island at random points to throw the cat among the pigeons and set pulses racing. Season 12 has gotten off to a flying start, with six bombshells being dropped into the villa in the first week.

Without doubt, the most dramatic point in any Love Island season is when some of the contestants are sent to live in Casa Amor. This typically occurs around the midpoint of the season. It sees couples split and new contestants introduced to live with current ones in a separate villa for a while. When the existing contestants return, they can decide whether they want to stick with their partners or swap to one of the new people they met in Casa Amor.

These are the most popular twists in the series. Still, the producers also throw in plenty of other twists throughout, including introducing ex-partners, having the cast watch previous episodes back, and more, all of which are designed to cause chaos.
