COSTCO shoppers are still fuming after a food court item dubbed the “goat” was discontinued for good.
The fan favourite food court snack was dropped from the menu early last year with fans still raging at the decision to axe it.
Costing only $1 the sweet treat was a well loved addition to the extensive food court offerings.
Fans are still fuming over its loss to this day with many hoping for its eventual return.
The Churro unfortunately doesn’t appear to be coming back anytime soon, if ever, though.
The beloved deep-fried cinnamon sugar-dusted snack was reportedly replaced with the chocolate chip cookie.
Costing $1 more than the churro the cookie packs a massive 750 calories into a single serving.
To this day no reason for the churro’s surprise axing during the pandemic has been given.
Fans still wonder where it disappeared to and why, furious that they wont get to taste its sweetness again.
The staple of the food court menu is fondly remembered on social media with several devoted fans sharing memories of the sweet treat.
A recent post asking “who misses the churro?” gathered hundreds of responses from Costco shoppers reminiscing on their memories of the South American sugary delight.
Despite several claims that the churro would return it doesn’t seem to be on the table.
Costco has remained silent on the churro’s disappearance to this day and has given no indication that it will come back.
Fans branded the old favourite the “goat” or greatest of all time blasting the replacement cookie as “just too big.”
The old school churro contained a whopping 570 calories, 20g of fat and a massive 25g of sugar.

Shoppers speculated that the replacement twisted churro suffered low sales which caused the menu item to be axed completely.
One shopper said: “Everything I love gets taken away from me. I’m just not interested in the giant warm cookie.”
Another commented: “My kids mourn the churro like a grandparent.”
A third replied: “I have fond memories of going shopping with my mom as a kid.
“I was always SO stoked when she would give in and get us a churro to share.”
