It's been almost 60 years since The Beatles performed together. The closest thing we ever got to a reunion was the release of "Now and Then," the posthumous track salvaged from John Lennon's demos and reconstructed by Paul McCartneyandRingo Starr using the demo along with guitar tracks recorded by George Harrison.
Aside from McCartney and Starr's solo efforts and respective tours, all that's left of The Beatles in terms of new music is the work of their sons. All four Beatles have sons in the music business, all occupying their own styles. Recently, it seems that an interesting project is brewing, as Zak Starkey, Sean Lennon, and James McCartney have gotten together for a new song.

The latter comment is in reference to Dhani Harrison, the Beatles guitarist's son. Having him join in would truly be something. I know I speak for many when I say I'm excited to see where this goes.
