First Alert Weather: Tracking spot showers and storms through midweek

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Partly to mostly cloudy Tuesday with warm and more humid weather building into the region. While most of the day will be dry some pop-up showers and even an isolated thunderstorm in the Finger Lakes is possible Tuesday afternoon. Having said that the overall chances for rain are low. Warm and muggy weather Tuesday night with a better chance for afternoon showers and storms Wednesday. Not looking for widespread severe weather but a few gusty storms with local downpours likely.

Heading into Thursday for Juneteenth a few morning showers and storms with a warm muggy start to the day near 80 degrees. Turning less humid and cooler during the afternoon. Looking nice on Friday. Summer solstice arrives at 10:42 Friday night. Temps warm up this weekend with hot weather around 90 likely next week.
