Julian Smilowitz, who was the Fullerton High football coach for nine seasons, died June 13.
He was 72.
The cause of death has not been publicized.
Smilowitz was Fullerton’s head coach from 2004 to 2012. He was a three-sport standout at Neff High in La Mirada and played football at Brigham Young University.
A visitation will be held Thursday (June 26) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton. A funeral service is Friday (June 27) at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15100 Cordova Road in La Mirada. Graveside service is Friday at noon at Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary in Whittier.
