Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, made a joint public appearance for the Order of the Garter on Monday, June 16, and fans were all a-twitter about their style.
On the series of photos posted to the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales, fans could not get over how "elegant" Kate and Sophie looked together.

"Kate and Sophie are so beautiful and elegant ladies ?," wrote one fan, to which another replied, "@noelirv agree! I just adore them both ❤️."
"Love seeing Princess Catherine and Duchess Sophie together. Two elegant and classy ladies!" wrote another fan.
A fourth fan added, "I like them, they look so fabulous. Kate is always so elegant."

"What a busy and beautiful time of year for The Royal Family! ♥️ I love seeing everyone so immaculately dressed and regal throughout all the celebrations!! ??," wrote another fan, in reference to the fact that in just the past week alone, the Royal Family has had the King's official birthday celebrations and his birthday honors, which bestows titles upon important people from different areas of culture, plus the Trooping the Color military parade and now the Order of the Garter, which is the annual procession to honor the most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain.
Duchess Sophie is Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones, the wife of Prince Edward, who is King Charles' youngest sibling. Charles is the oldest of the four children of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. He is followed by Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
That makes Duchess Sophie an aunt to Prince William, and her children are his first cousins — her children include Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 21, and James Mountbatten-Windsor, Earl of Wessex, 17.
