Alexander Albon, Williams (Retired, lap 47): 3/10
Albon has been a star among the midfield drivers so far this year, but he will want to swiftly forget about his weekend in Canada. The Williams driver did well to get into Q3 after his engine cover disintegrated in the first part of Qualifying. However, he was unable to capitalize on a decent starting grid position after going for a trip on the grass on the opening lap, losing three places and falling out of the points. A number of issues and errors plagued the rest of his Grand Prix, including a power unit niggle and an ill-informed decision to stay out on worn medium tyres for 24 laps. His race came to a premature end on lap 47, as his engine finally decided to breathe its last breath.
Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (Retired, lap 54): 4/10
Bit of a nothing race for Lawson in the end. He started from the pitlane after replacing a number of key components on his Racing Bulls, but managed to perform a few clean overtakes in the first phase of the Grand Prix. But after pitting for a second time he found himself at the foot of the field, and subsequently retired on lap 54 to protect an overheating engine.
