Tom Wargacki/WireImage“The memoir you co-wrote with your beautiful mama was gut-wrenching, exquisite, and such an honest and affectionate tribute to someone I loved very much…. Lisa Marie [Presley]. Keep being the authentic, gorgeous human you are!”
In a voice-over, Keough shares the moments and memories that spark her creativity as she takes viewers on a journey through Graceland, including the backyard, pool area, jungle room, kitchen, stables, the bedroom of Gladys and Vernon Presley, the pool room, TV room, and living room. “The locations were real. The people were real,” she says.
“It was just a very human story set in an unusual place. But for me, it’s the most usual place in the world.”
Linda Thompson lived at the historic Tennessee home with the king of rock and roll from 1972 through 1976. She was responsible for many of the home's now-iconic details, designing the stained glass peacocks leading into the music room, the climbing roses and "P" stained glass at the front door, and decorating the downstairs rooms and the Jungle Room.
