ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 18, is hospitalized after being shot on Sunday night on the city’s northeast side.
Rochester Police found the victim on Norton Village Lane off Norton Street around 11:30 p.m. They determined that the shooting happened on North Goodman Street near Bay Street, nearly two miles away.
An ambulance took the victim to Strong Memorial Hospital to treat his upper-body gunshot wound. He is expected to survive. No suspects are in custody and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
