Indian cricketer Nitish Rana and his wife, Saachi Marwah, have welcomed the two tiny bundles of joy into their lives, as the couple became the proud parents of twin boys. Nitish Rana and Saachi Marwah shared the heartwarming news with fans on social media on Monday, June 16.
The couple posted a photo of their newborns' tiny hands along with the special announcement on Instagram. They shared that they welcomed the twins on June 14 into the Rana family.
Nitish and Saachi, who tied the knot in February 2019, received an outpouring of love and blessings from family, friends, and fans on social media.

Sharing a couple of pictures on Instagram, the couple posted a sweet message: “From our forever tattoos to twin boys—a plot twist we didn’t see coming. Same date. (14.06.25) Same us. ? Just two tiny humans added. ??”

Saachi, who is an interior designer and a cousin of comedian Abhishek Krushna, has often been seen supporting Nitish Rana through his cricketing journey.
Rishabh Pant’s sister steals hearts with ‘Dream Aunt’ message for Nitish Rana’s twins
Well, among the first to congratulate the couple was Rishabh Pant’s sister, Sakshi Pant, who shared a sweet message, promising to be the “dream aunt” to the newborns.
Sakshi wrote in the comment box, “Congratulations on the arrival of our little bundle of joy. ? I promise to be the kind of bua every kid dreams of. ?♥️.”
On the other hand, Indian cricketers like Venkatesh Iyer, Rahul Tewatia, Ramandeep Singh, Yudhvir Singh Charak, former spinner Piyush Chawla, and his IPL team, Rajasthan Royals, also congratulated the couple on becoming parents.
Meanwhile, Nitish Rana may not have gotten many opportunities with Team India at the international level, but his contributions in domestic and IPL have made him a well-known name in Indian cricket. Rana made his international debut in 2021 during India’s tour of Sri Lanka.

He played one ODI and two T20 Internationals for India, all in July 2021. However, the Delhi batter couldn’t make a significant impact, scoring just 7 runs in the ODI and 15 runs across two T20 innings. Since then, he has not been out of the Indian cricket team.
But Rana has shown solid form in domestic cricket. In first-class cricket, he has scored 2,954 runs in 54 matches, and in List A cricket, he has amassed 2,281 runs in 78 games. His brilliant performances at the domestic level have made him a key figure in his state team and a valuable player in the IPL.
Nitish Rana’s rollercoaster IPL journey over the years
Rana began his IPL career in 2016 with the Mumbai Indians. After spending two seasons with the franchise, he moved to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where he played for seven seasons and even captained the side briefly. He also won the IPL 2024 trophy with KKR under Shreyas Iyer’s captaincy.
Ahead of the 2025 season, KKR released him, and he was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals. In his debut season with the Rajasthan Royals, Rana played 11 matches and scored 217 runs, including two crucial half-centuries. However, the Royals had a poor season, failing to qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs.
